De Gea? Are you serious? He only had about 7 shots on goal to deal with.

I don't think he was directly to blame for any of their goals.
I'd award that accolade to Evra (well, least 4 of them).

I fail to see how he can come out of the game with any credit though?

Was it the defence that was to blame or the giant blackhole in the centre of midfield.

In the summer a towering, dominant presence in the centre of midfield was needed more than anything else. Instead we got Young, Jones, and De Dodgy.

AF was obsessed with trying to copy the tikka tikka football of Barcelona (who dont have a destroyer in CM) and has left the side seriously unbalanced.

win some, lose some?

That was no bad day at the office, I am sorry to say it wasn't, no where close. I truly feel for you lads in the morning heading off to work, facing the likes of Nic and co.
Lets put it this way, you probably probably have not or will not have experienced tomorrows singular humiliation over a game of football? how many of you dread that drive in to work in a couple of hours?

I get United, we all get United, the ups and downs, highs and lows, life goes on...

Of all the postmortem reports and quotes I have read(also keep an eye on the Aldershot away squad) to be honest I really think no one inside Old Trafford actually gives a flying fuck, its back the age old adage... win some, you lose some. Roll on Everton and the avoidance of dropping points? That's the standard bearer for that well worn ethos of nonchalant-ness or indifference to days like today?

Enjoy that coffee break tomorrow....

That exact squad should be hauled down to Aldershot. and made to suffer further humiliation, then put the kids out for Everton. Draconian? An over reaction?

What the hell, win some you lose some....

Rio's defending was much like my own, for my Saturday team at the weekend - lazy, inept, slow and just atrocious.

Shame I don't have his wage though.

I sincerely hope we will be appealing against Jonny's red card.

And I also hope the FA deem our appeal to be frivolous.

De Gea can take NO blame for yesterday. He was given absolutely no cover and Schmeichel at his peak would have conceded 6 yesterday. Admittedly, Rio and Evans might have had bloody noses as a result, which can only be a good thing.

Jonny Evans is possibly the worst player we've had on our books in the PL, and that includes Prunier and Bellion.

Work today was painful. All the LFC lot giving loads. If we lose on Saturday, I'll have the blue lot giving it me as well.

The only way for the team to redeem themselves is to now go on an impressive winning run.
To do that, I think SAF must start by selecting his strongest side against Everton on Saturday and fucking STICKING WITH IT!

Players like Smalling, Jones and Rooney should form the backbone of the team from now until May.
As for the rest... who knows?

ABU cunts were at their worst yesterday. Even worse than the Berties.

It was the best day of their lives, and they would put this kind of defeat we suffered over any victory for their own clubs. Contradicting cunts. They were loving it. They are the "true fans" of football.

The only way that United can heel the scar of this thrashing, is to either beat the bloo's at their own ground by a similar score, or to win number 20.

Or both.

City took every chance. Scored.

We paid the hefty price of shit defending.

This result will not happen again, especially at home.

A long run of unbeaten results please, United. Let's see how the bloo's cope with their matches against the rent boys, dippers, Arses etc.
