They are without a win in the league in 10 attempts since December 17 and have scored only 19 goals all season, the fewest of any side in the division.
and they sacked their manager this week....

this should be a routine win for utd.

i'm going all out and predicting 0-0 Wink

Was going to be a routine win.... until arsenal lost meaning we could go 5!!!

I suspect, at the very best, it will be 0-0

I'm going to do something I haven't done this season... criticise Jose.

We had that game wrapped up at 2-0. We were comfortable at the back and Rashford and Lingard's pace on the break had them on the ropes. We could've got 3 or 4 reducing the goal difference. But no, he brings on Rojo for Mata and we effectively go 6 at the back. 6 at the back, 4 fucking centre backs, and we still struggle to deal with crosses. We are forced to sit so deep we were relying on 50+ yard hoofs to Rashford.

I get changing things a little to protect the lead, but bringing Mata off for Mhky or Martial would have given them a new problem. That extra pacy player on the break would have given them more to think about rather than allowing them to press in numbers.

Oh well, a win!!! And we are finally out of 6th... for now

Back 4 are like rabbits in headlights at times.Jones luck was in.Smalling at fault for goal...no left foot...badly need a solid centre half with Bailly.
Got the result but not impressive..

Yeah I thought exactly the same - bring on Mhkitaryan and kill em off on the next counter attack. Defending more just invited em onto us and we were really fortunate in the end that the final goal went our way.

That performance pretty much sums up Valdes' career.

Albeit a different Utd side but 98/99 season 4-0 up at Forest and SAF brings on Solskjaer.

The difference between the two decisions is the current difference between then and now. We still lack that killer edge and we still lack confidence.

For those of you who are too young to know what happened he scored 4 goals in 10 minutes.

Didn't get selected for the next game.

Didn't complain.

In fairness, I can't see the legend that is The legend that is Ole making a tit out of himself on social media the way a lot of these prancing shits do these days.

A class act. We may not see the likes of him again.

Kinell, what a game that was.

Without wanting to sound Scouseresque, I am very glad I was around for that era. The ten years before that and then ten years after it left some wonderful memories of sublime and beautiful football.

That's my annual post quota done. See you next year, tell nic he's a cunt if you see him.
