Looks to be off on the cheap as Everton want rid...

Statistically the lad is one of the best midfielders in the league, according to talkshite. I guess there is an attitude problem there which is why he is being shown the door.

Would he be worth a punt??

He was offered a contract and declined. So he wasn't shown the door as such. He has made his intentions clear.

Strange he wishes to move at a time where Everton are spending money for once. He is still, 'on paper', their best midfielder.

"Statistically he's one of the best midfielders in the league"

Eh... is there actual statistics to back that up??

He's bang average for me, will be playing in Greece or Turkey with Jack Wilshire in a couple years.

You did miss the bit where I said "according to talkshite".

I do believe that statistics can be used to show Peter Crouch is Englands greatest ever striker ..........

only a fool would actually use stats to try prove a point Wink

luckily no one on here ever does that.

He reminds me of that other useless Toffee tosser Rodwell (who's name I ironically couldnt remember and had to look up) who went to City. Anything that comes out of Everton's youth system is the next Rooney, particularly if they're English. He's a good standard mid table player, no more.

I feel he has considerable talent but doesn't think he needs to learn much. Unfulfilled potential very much on the cards.

Barkley doesn't look any better now than when he made his debut.

I'd honestly rather bring Scholes out of retirement again.
