Another fine performance from the shirts. Good patient play against a team that had at least 9 players behind the ball for most of the match. If we go a goal up then we've always been hard to beat, but this season I think we will be better if we go a goal down.

Flying start, 6 points, 8 goals for, 0 against, and a million percent better to watch. I'm looking forward to the next game already.

It is early days but there are real signs we are turning into a winning machine.

I wouldn't say anyone played fantastically but that is a huge positive imo. Last season we drew games like that.

It's so nice to see us gabbing hold of the game, then killing off the opposition as soon as the opportunity arises.

Great result, gave them a few decent chances from crosses that better opponents would have buried.Jones was much improved,Matic solid and overall a good performance. These are games that must be won.

I don't know what the fuck they've been doing in training, but Jones looked like Bobby Moore today!

We've improved enormously over last season.. However...while it's nice to see us stuff the cannon fodder that is West Ham and Swansea (which we were failing to do last year), I'd like to see how we fare against some of the other top six before judging how far we've come.

Scrappy as fuck that game. It seemed like that anyway. As soon as goal two went in, it was an easy ride.

Great start. This should be standard stuff for United. Should always be winning by at least a couple goals against these sorts of clubs home and away.

The real test will be when we're away to the supposed top 3/4 clubs.

For now, we've improved dramatically. Long may it continue at the very least against the smaller clubs.

I was watching Jones and if you didn't know who he is you would have thought that he really could play.

He always could play. It's just that every four weeks or so, he forgets the concept of solid mass physics and runs through one of his own players in training, crippling them both for several weeks.

are you sure the rules of solid mass physics apply to Phil Jones?

For a fan of a club that used to field the alien headed Lescott and Shaun Face-Like-A-Burst-Tyre Goater, you've got a fucking cheek.
