martial is an amazing talent that needs to be nurtured and i believe he will be world class one day .

rashford is from manchester and therefore seen as the future, for me he is the new Danny wellbeck, a really good player and a like able guy , but one who will always just never be that next level.

Sanchez is world class now. he has the attributes of Tevez and Aguero and Suarez.

if we are getting rid of players to offset his wages, then Zlatan can go, legend and all that, but like an aging heavyweight slugging it out against younger fitter guys, it aint gonna happen pal, best fuck off while you've still got your dignity and plenty of million to retire on Cool

Absolutely correct.

Except you can't sign a pre-contract agreement with a club in the same country

And he's reported to have been paid a £10M signing on fee anyway

And £15M for his agent

And £450K pw x 4.5 years = ££105M

And it was a £35M transfer fee (albeit £35M received in return for another player)

So it's a cool £165M total deal
Wink

I had no idea you were his agent?

If you're not and last time I looked you weren't you know fuck all except red top rag shite.

Go peddle it on Twitter or similar bullshit platform.

I don't get this Rashford thing.

His poor run of form coincided with us playing poorly. Being a young lad this can't do much for confidence. He is also played out of position and quite often having to do more defensive work than he'd probably like.

Last season it was Martial suffering like Rashford is this. I've seen enough to think he could be a quality player. With Zlatan looking unlikely to feature for us much more this season, Rashford and Martial are both ideal stand in's for Lukaku

I like Rashford. After Mata he’s my favourite outfield player. He looks a bit too cocky/nonchalant/inexperienced at times but he actually gets me excited about watching United. I know I’m an old dinosaur who – alone with Fergie, our ex-players and a small handful on here – value attractive football over pragmatism and want to see something that gets their pulse going ahead of another pedestrian three points that “keeps up the pressure on runaway leaders city”, but having a player who genuinely gets me out of my seat when he attacks defences reminds me of why I loved this game/team in the first place.

And IMO – if tapped correctly – he’s got waay more potential than Martial too.

Rashford is top quality but he’s still very young and learning. He has all the ability to be a top, top player and I think he will be. He’s frustratingly inconsistent at present because he’s young, he will improve greatly through the experience of it not quite going for him at the moment.

Is Bert really splitting hairs over a few mill on a player? YCNMIU.

How in the name of fuck did anyone EVER sign for the third biggest club in Manchester? Joke shop. Always.

No splitting hairs here chap.

Merely trying to offer some FACTS to counterbalance the "he's come on a free and SNUBBED City for less money" hyperbole that seems to be doing the rounds of late

I know this board treasures its accuracy Wink

You're not stupid. Any ideas you have about financial accuracy & probity were fucked out the window when you were bought by the biggest shower of crooks to hit Manchester since the Noonans & you saw a chance of some silverware after all these centuries.

so, in short, fuck off.

If complaining about wages & stupid money is your thing, I reckon premiership football is not the ideal place to waste your energy. Hopefully it does a Serie A in the next decade and goes back to being shit & based around violence.
