We will win.

Fuck the board jinx. And fuck anyone who disagrees.

We will probably win, maybe get a result vs Juve even. But then we play Everton and Bournemouth and normal service will be resumed. That's just how we do things these days.

Well that was actually quite a good performance, one we should have closed out but style of play was entertaining, formation was positive, as was the effort put in to getting back into the game. 6 minutes stoppage? Fuck knows where he got that from but happy with a point down there.

Who is this new confident attacking defensive midfielder type, Matic, that played today.

We should have signed him ages ago.

We were robbed by that horseshit extra time. Mata, Martial, Pogba were very good particularly in the second half.

Hard to take dropping two points pike that but it happens. Let's keep the positive play going.

Oh, and Mourinho is still a wanker.

Decent result. I wouldn't have called it entertaining, but this types of games rarely are, so that's not a huge issue for me. Thought it was a solid performance, a typical Jose performance (that's a positive by the way).

Has the result just delayed the inevitable? It's one thing getting up for a game like this, but we need to do it against the Brighton's of this world.

It does seem like we've got a good spirit within the group. Martial getting two goals is a massive plus, especially after the goal vs Newcastle. His confidence is back. Let's hope he builds on it.

Agreed.

The 6 minutes was a mess of our own making. That substitution/Rashford injury sequence was a bit of a joke, but then having seen the 6 minutes go up we really should have been able to hold on for the extra minute that we needed. In the build up to that equalising goal, there were a lot of tired touches.

It's a shame, but then our record there is utterly shit, and combined with the second half performance I think we'd have taken it before hand.

This is the type of post that has been sadly lacking since the days of the revolution.

I love this post and I salute you sir.

Rashford seems lost - he didn't seem to contribute much to me.

Although Martial scored twice I wasn't impressed with anything else that he did.

Was Lingard dropped ?

Think Lingard is injured.

Tbf Rashford did put in the cross for one on Martials goals.

It's no conicidence we have 3 players, martial, Rashford and Sanchez not performing at the level we'd expect from them. I put it down to Jose's tactics. And although I had a moan about Lukaku on another post, I'm sure part of his problem is tactical (that shouldn't turn him into Heskey though. Falling over whenever he receives the ball.)

In fairness, you're right, we were quite literally asking for a load of extra time - karma, I guess you could call it.

I still feel pretty good about the performance despite the result and the manner in which we lost the win. Hopefully it's an upward trend.

I look forward to taking on the board jinx - and any fucking clowns who subscribe to it - even more.

We will beat Juventus.
