Supporting United for over 25 years I honestly don't think I've been more embarrassed.

Got silly at the end, but in truth it wasn't a 6-1 game

We took out chances and one thing's for sure United wont get dicked like that for another 25 years and the pressure now moves to us

Can we handle it?

at 90 minutes we were 'only' 3-1 down and had been arguably, the better side!

yes, I'm fucking deluded.

A defeat has been coming but couldnt have happened any more shit if you had planned it!! In truth we got what we deserved - but if the sending off hadnt happpened it would not have been 6!! Fair play to City they played the perfect game and we had too many passengers chasing shadows for 90 mins. Lets just hope we learn the lesson to sort this out very quickly and particularly before the trophies are handed out next May!

I hope we have mate but I doubt it. We learned today that Evra has stopped tracking back properly, 4 goals down his side is no coincidence. Rio is getting on and Evans just isn't up to playing against the other top 4/5 sides. We needed a central midfielder this summer because our current set (excluding Cleverly) just are not up to it. Oh and finally we learned that if you play 4-4-2 against a top class 4-5-1/4-3-3 no matter how well you start they will eventually make that extra man count.

I think we pretty much knew this last season.

Mr Nicolae - What I am about to say changes nothing*:

BUT - your shower of shite had a ruthlesness that I have loved at United. See, I'm a lovely chap outside of football, but as regards the game I'm a cunt: I don't just like winning, I like to see the other team humiliated...fuck 1-0 or 2-1, even 3-1...I want 9-0s and 10-1s. And I have to say I can only admire what you did today. Hats off. Cunt. Wink

As for our lot: Evra's been really piss poor since that ignominious exit from the World Cup, Ferdinand is losing it if not already lost it, our central midfield is NOT top class and until Cleverley comes of age (and/or if Phil Jones gets moved in there), I can see us getting dominated there a lot and - as much as I hate to send even the smallest criticism Fergie's way - why no Phil fucking Jones and Hernandez?!?

Seeing OT so cowed was also dispiriting.

Shit day.

*You are still an inveterate cunt, I still hope your miserable, incorrigible shitstain of a team goes to that great stadium in the sky through a wildly improbable combination of the most embarassing fuck ups that suit shitty's slapstick history (including one that involves your manager getting caught performing fellatio upon a sheep), I still hope we 10-1 you next time at Wastelands (and that you lead 1-0 until the last 5 minutes and we get an enormous dollop of Fergie time) and I still hope you turn into a eunuch tomorrow morning.

Wink

City were the better side, not just a little bit but by a measurable margin.

They have bought a number of very good players and particularly have both power and presence in midfield alongsode genuine craft and guile. Yaya and Silver are the type of players that United need.

I won't get into blaming individuals because it wasn't any one individuals failing, United were second best in every department.

Who would have thought that without Jones & Cleverly we'd look such a fragile side when neither were in the title winning side last season.

The sort of he's referring to is, if it hadn't been United on the end of that performance, it'd have been a great game to watch.

I was at the 5-0 in 94 and have to say yesterday reminded me of it...every time one team went forward, it looked like they were going to score. Just a pity they were in bloo yesterday.
