unbeaten as we are, it really does mean sweet fuck all.

with 10 draws in the league , we've gained 10 points

had we lost 5 and won 5 we would have 15 points and be 2nd Shocked

totally pointless and irrelevant post really , but i'm still pissed off and looking for positives,
sadly ,i've not found any yet Embarassed

I think we can all agree it's infinitely better than this time last year though. And we're definitely going in the right direction.

I think we can all agree on that

It's easy to think 'what if?'.

Things are better... very frustrating, but better. The rot has stopped and we are heading in the right direction. As Jackl said in another thread, it's a work in progress. The unbeaten run might not be perfect, but it is still a huge positive. If you don't lose, you win cups. Eventually these draws will turn into wins, whether it be this season or next.

Four seasons ago we had that graveyard toothed cunt in charge and couldn't beat an egg.

Two seasons ago we were playing the most boring football I've ever seen and we we're still dropping points to teams who we should have been smashing off the park.

This season we had huge expectations, probably too big given the absolute shite dished up for the three preceding years. It''s going to take a lot to get back to the top, and it's unlikely we'll ever dominate the domestic game like we did for the last 20 years. But I see progress in the right direction. Let's give the manager a couple of seasons to see what he can do, eh?

Absolutely, no patience in the game of football these days. We had the horror show of Moyes that dismantled the spirit of anything's possible with a "hopeful" tone and a complete lack of gravitas in his personality that turned a winning dressing room on it's head. We then had LvG that served up the most boring football that man has ever witnessed, and was so set in his boring methods that he couldn't adapt.

The football under Jose has been entertaining, frustrating at times but we're truly hard to beat, and with another CB, a replacement for Carrick, another 20-a-season striker and rid of some passengers and we'll be challenging for the league.

In the meantime let's remember that we are FA cup holders, league cup holders, in the Europa league, still in the FA cup and holders of the Community Shield. Most teams would bite their fucking hands off to be where we are.

All we're lacking is a few players, some patience and some perspective.

We will still win the Treble and I have a big enough return to put me in the Priory for two weeks afterwards
