He will always have a special place with us, a genuine fully-fledged legend who has always called it as he sees it so his honesty cannot be doubted. Rigour is his watchword and he demands nothing of others which he won't give himself. There is a but and it is that he and that fool next to him on that clip are not the best qualified to tell Jose how to manage, not least because neither, for opposite reasons, understands the many nuances in his approach to management.
Incidentally I read both of Roy's autobios because I love this complex character. He actually understands the demons he carries inside him. He was betrayed by the treachery of his first ghostwriter and surprisingly let down also by the second, which surprises me given the latter's stature. After a promising start, however, he couldn't raise the enthusiasm to get to grips with the great man's ramblings. |

Immense player for us.
Now a gobshite, and a bitter cunt with a grudge, I have no time for him whatsoever. _________________ This is Manchester, we do things differently here.

keano may be bitter or , he may honest, depends I suppose on how you view the man, but what he says in that clip is spot on .
and let's be honest he isn't the only one saying these things.
managers are like politicians, you never get a straight answer you just get rhetoric and propaganda, but there comes a time when someone needs to advise them and say "just lay off the bull shit", everyone can see through it , especially the fans. _________________ People say I'm condescending. I think he has bitterness, justified? maybe maybe not.
What he said last night was spot on.
The banana and it's alleged urgency made me fucking cringe. I have no doubt that the Berties and the Dippers found it fuckin hilarious
As for the schedule, we have have won doubles and a treble and there was little difference if any.
When managers start whining I see it as an excuse for future failure.
Wenger has been doing it for years and I thought he was just making excuses in advance of poor results and I thought he was a dick.
Now Moureen is doing it.
The positive I have tried to dig out of his interview and defend him is that maybe he is doing a Fergie and taking the light of a bad performance
Do I believe it? The jury is still out _________________ Mobile phones ringing in the pockets of the dead |

This X 10.
As a manager, a pundit and a human being outside of a football pitch he is lacking in many, many departments. _________________ The situation regarding spoons remains unchanged, if I see one, I will kill it. |

Keano is a gobshite, his gobshitedness got him essentially sacked by United, a politician he ain't - but fuck me what a footballer he was, no quarter asked for, no quarter given.
He is in no position to question Jose as a man or manager, but he's paid to of course but he appears to spend most of his life as a very angry man where everyone else is wrong, except him! _________________ Nic... Keano was a great player, gave all on the pitch...but as a pundit he likes to be controversial, this keeps the money rolling in while he awaits the Ireland/Wales match when he will be assistant manager....not manager.
When he has won as much as Jose as a manager maybe then he can be super critical, but until then keep the trap under control Roy! _________________ E. pluribus unum.

I like the point that if the manager makes excuses all the time, he is letting the players off for a below par performance and they are not taking the blame. |

Being a gobshite cost him both a glittering club career and his international career. Having realised he was a shite manager he's now realised he can make a few bob by continuing to be a gobshite to a wider audience.
It's pathetic watching him trying so hard to be controversial. His cringeworthy documentary/love-in with Vieria demonstrated his bitterness to United and Fergie in particular. _________________ This is Manchester, we do things differently here.
