I can't make my mind up on him.

Quite often he gets slaughtered for being shite and I find myself agreeing with that. But, the lad scores some cracking goals, including cup finals. We say Pogba hasn't produced in a big game for us, this lad has.

Does the lad just need a run of games to show what he can do?

*However, behaviour is still embarrassing

he's an easy target for the "haters"
but he does something we need, makes runs in behind off the ball, his movement is often missed by match going reds, and the internet experts who simply say "he isn't good enough for utd"
when he's analysed by pundits , his runs and movement are always commended as excellent, and he nearly always looks to get the ball forward.

he may become the next Keiron Richardson.and he will most likely never become the new Paul Scholes.
but he does deliver when he gets chance , we have expensive players who play regularly who don't do that Wink

I agree. I think richardson was just average but thought he was the dogs bollocks.
Lingard is no world beater by any means but he deffo has far more ability than richardson did and is a useful squad player.

I wish he'd just stop being a dick, silly goal celebrations and other such fucktardary do him no favours.

He has been involved in 40+ senior games He has had few moments of class.
I feel that a player that has been at the club since he was 7 yrs old, loaned out 4 times should be a lot more consistent or showed more talent
United has been blessed with many exceptional young players and this sets a very high bar and maybe fans, critics draw far too many comparisons?
He is 24(I think?) and I doubt he will be at the club at the end of next season I feel his time is running out and I doubt that he will be given anymore time to show or prove his ability.

Yup. I must admit I sigh a little when I see his name in the starting XI. Moments like Sunday or the cup final are few and far between, and do just enough to keep up his profile when in fact the majority of his time spent on the pitch he's been largely anonymous - particularly for a Manchester United attacking player.

But managers seem to like him so if he's happy just to be a squad player I can see him sticking around for a few more years.

He's the type of player that SAF would have kept in the squad because he recognised the importance of having utility players that are "club men" in and around the team.

He does his job when he comes on, sometimes out wide, sometimes behind the striker and even in central midfield from time to time.

He's Utd through and through, we had 25 years of success built around this model, that changed when the bug eyed cunt face took over and we've struggled ever since.

Lingard would be welcomed by any side in the top half of the PL why should we be any different?
