They're a good side. Far better side than Genk. Who are a far better side than Gent. Who they knocked out. And they knocked out Spurs. Confused

Not the worst result but could have and should have been out of sight, story of the season.

Oh FFS. We seem to find new ways to cock up perfectly healthy positions and contrive to snatch draws from the jaws of victories.

Saw bits of it...

In the pub but forced to do the family thing... but from what I saw, we done alrite.. had enough chances to win it, but I certainly wouldn't blame our defence for their goal. Great ball into the box and an equally good header.

We're still in it. That's the main thing.

No more excuses. That was pathetic. All the bullshit about prioritising this competition at the expense of the Premier League now no longer holds water. With the rent boys looming on the horizon, we were led to believe that it was in our best interests to effectively kill this tie with a convincing result that would make the home leg almost redundant and at half time, all was going to plan. Then, what happened? Instead of finishing off a team that was clearly outclassed and resigned to defeat, we retreat into the shell and encourage them to attack. The equaliser (although well executed) was a gift and makes next Thursday a lot more awkward than it should have been. Now, Mourinho has a dilemma: rest players on Sunday so they'll be alright for our "priority" objective or try to scab points against Chelski in a renewed attempt to creep into the top 4.

This frustrating situation could have been avoided if we could acquaint ourselves with the concept of "a second goal" against a team we should be battering.

My vocabulary of swear words was exhausted tonight. Feckin' shite.

A bit OTT there Hawkeye... United had two or three very good attacking moves and chances in the minutes leading up to their goal, rather than sitting back defending. For some reason, none of our lads have absolutely no conviction in anything they do in front of goal, that is the main issue over the course of the season.

I thought it was very good euro away performance, we controlled the game, Carrick and pogba were excellent. and they looked like a side in awe of their opponents.

we should though have added more goals, but for the umpteenth time this season, we didn't and paid the price.

the number of games we draw is not a coincidence , theres a problem here ..........the bigger problem is finding out exactly what it is, and dealing with.

i'm fucked if I know... but by god it's the most frustrating season for many a year, so close , but then always so far Crying or Very sad
