Only one signing so far and looks like Woodwood is failing to get any other deals over the line, and pre-season starts next week.
Anyone else getting a bit concerned? We all know what Jose is like when he doesn't get what he wants. |

Over 2 months of the transfer window to go. _________________ "United's success has generated its wealth; City's wealth has generated its success. Anything else is just piss and wind."

I'm honestly getting more concerned about the dead weight we're still carrying. How hard is it to offload superfluous players? Not just thinking of Rooney either.
On the positive front, it looks like Andreas Pereira will be given a chance to bolster the midfield. |

Yes, but isn't it best to get players in before preseason starts so the players get to meet their teammates, adjust to their new surroundings etc? The earlier it's done the better prepared we are for our first game.
Also, as DM rightly points out, it gives us a chance to get rid of the deadweight. |

Yes, getting in our targets early is preferable all round, but what matters is we actually buy the two or three players Jose wants to get - and for that, we have two months to go.
Big name signings are always ongoing sagas until the deadline - the so-called lesser, unknown signings are often snapped up straight away without the media circus. _________________ "United's success has generated its wealth; City's wealth has generated its success. I wouldn't be happy with Davide going but, unlike some on here, I feel Joe Hart is still a decent keeper. He will need to get his confidence back, of course, after Pep's unnecessarily contemptuous treatment which raises more issues about the manager's character than it does the player's. Hart has conducted himself impeccably. He might not start as first choice but I think he'd acquit himself favourably. |

Thoughts? Personally i think its a cracking signing, 23 proven in the prem. |
I'd be happy with that. Puts Chelsea in a bind too given the fallout with Costa. _________________ "United's success has generated its wealth; City's wealth has generated its success. Anything else is just piss and wind."

Also screws up Real for a bit. They'll need to offload Morata to someone else if they want Mbappe. _________________ "I think Manchester United is the greatest team in the world. I'd give anything to play for you" - Duncan Edwards.

I can see Morata going to chelsea given the apparent move of costa and the fact Morata played under Conte at Juve. |

The de Gea thing will never end. Let's get the money - Romero did fine.
It's like selling Bond Street when you've got Piccadilly at Monopoly and you can use that money to maybe get Murdering Scum Street to go with your other stations.
That's sort of how football is now. Unless you are City and then you are the banker and can cheat. |
