worth every penny Shocked

his buy out clause has to be paid in full and its 199 million pounds!!!!!

joking aside...........

I agree with Klopp here, what the fuck is FFP all about when a club with an attendance average of 40,000 and an income to match ,can basically sign one player in a deal that will cost close to a BILLION EUROS ......

Mourinho thinks it's a fair price. But he's always been at clubs with bottomless pockets, so he would.

He says the only thing that's unfair is that PSG are gonna buy him (probably breaking FFP rules) and we wanted to (not breaking FFP rules).

I'm so fucking glad he aint coming. £89m on Pogba (half to his agent) was ridiculous enough - forking out over double that on Neymar might have pushed me to start actively hating my own club.

I don't like it, but I would say this is the going rate for a player as good as Neymar. Whether the going rate is right or wrong is a separate issue.

I can see the knock on effect of this will be horrendous. If Neymar is now earning £400k pw, Ronny and Messi have a right to ask for £500-600k. Hazard, Bale, the hungry racist etc could also ask for a rise... it won't be long before £100m transfers are the norm...

Just think, £200m would easily cover the costs of grass roots football (in this country) allowing kids to play for nothing, rather than many being forced out of the game 'coz parents cant afford the £125 (rough estimate for my area) it costs per season. This is what really fucks me off. And just to add salt to the wounds... £50+m will probably go to some agent cunt, rather than the money filter down the football pyramid.

The floppy haired, faux-Scouse cunt is just pissed off because he thinks Barca will now sign Coutinho (which they probably will)

He has no idea if PSG will fail FFP (if it even exists anymore), for all he knows PSG might have done a deal with Nike, Gillette, Panasonic et al for £50M a season advertising Neymar

I'm non-plussed about the whole transfer, a player is only worth what someone else is willing to pay, PSG were willing to pay £198m, it is therefore what it is. I gave up caring about the size of transfers long ago and United have a long record of raising the bar in this regard, so we can't really complain.

The only thing the mildly irritates me is the player saying it's not about the money, it's the same line trotted out when City had their "Consistent failure dressed up as a long term strategic vision", it was bullshit then and it is bullshit now.

Oh, and another thing, Paris is a shithole, especially compared to Barcelona.

I saw that too

"it's not about the money " comment.

in that case why wait till the 31st july, when his contract terms dictated that his dad (agent ) would get £45 million .

moving back to the actual transfer.
this is a genuine question,
is he that good ? I mean we all know what a Ronaldo or messi can do, but Neymar ??? will he single handed transform PSG from a side who walk their league blindfolded, into genuine champions league contenders ?
last year Monaco got further than they did !!!

Oh come on it's really about those JCLs PSG and City changing the game and daring to up the ante for the cosy C. How the fuck dare they? I've seen nowt like it since Stan Mathews demanded £5 per week...

Neymar is a game changer in fairness JS and no I wouldn't have hated my club if they'd done this but I would have said be careful what you wish for.

Well, I certainly hope that would never happen at City, as it would be far too undervalued in the current market Wink

In fairness at least City are 'trying' to play the game. £250m income from matchday and TV and bucketloads of sponsorship deals that are totally genuine. Also huge investments in the stadium, the Academy, the local community, the city itself and all that in a league with far more parity.

PSG's income is more than 14 other teams in French league put together, they are the French Celtic in their one horse league (that they didn't win)

do not get me started on Celtic Evil or Very Mad , they now appear to have given themselves the title of

"the invincible's"

because they went all season in a mickey mouse league unbeaten. the whole league is a joke, and aptly they have a clown as a manager.

I do realise that English isn't their first language up there, but I hope they haven't bastardised the apostrophe to quite that extent Wink

The Dirty Jock Scouse Cunts would be close to the truth. No apostrophes needed.
