If we needed a match to get us focused this is definitely the one
After watching them do to the Vermin what couldn't even get close too
It could be a goal fest and a win Very Happy
or a fucking nightmare Evil or Very Mad

I have no idea what that second sentence means...but I think we should leave Lindelmuff at home.

The bitter taste of our recent defeat is somewhat more palatable after hearing the news that LFC got dicked.

Hate to say it, but they look good. They look very good. Fair play to them. Most consistent team in the league over the last few years, playing good football and doing it without throwing money all over the place.

Although I defended Jose for what he served up vs the dippers, you cant escape the fact thay they were there for the taking, when you see how easily spurs brushed them aside.

It's going to be a tough game against them. Expect buses and coaches to be parked. We'll do well to escape with a point

vermins defence is fucking awful, and sadly we went to play them and gave them zero defending to do. Crying or Very sad

spurs are very good and easy on the eye, but set up right against them and you can get at their midfield , especially if Dyer isn't playing.

let's hope Kane has a hamstring pull, Ali breaks a leg in training and Song gets flu this week . and then linderrolf can have a day off,
I'd rather Carrick at centre half than linderolf just now..

If only we had a fully fit and firing Bailly, Shaw and Pogba.

Since Jose has already planned his future after United, I think the board should do all they can to bring in Poch when Jose leaves. Best manager in the league. Level headed, can build an effective team and believes in promoting youth.

don't Forget Rojo.

when Rojo first came I thought he was shocking, and his passing was dreadfull, also he just seemed feeble, as he wore on he got better and better and a lot tougher, he had a right battle last season with Costa and came out on top in my book.
it's a harsh place for a centre half, and like a keeper every error basically leads to a goal, just ask Lovren...lol

linderhof still has a lot to learn, but let him learn it in the league cup, fa cup or dry rubber champions league games. Not the fucking premier league

completely agree Shocked

It'd be interesting to have Bailly and Rojo reunited in the middle with a 100% Shaw on the left and (dare I say it?) Darmian in his natural position on the right.

This could also see Valencia pushed forward into his natural position in place of the ineffective Mata/Lingard/Mkhitaryan/Whoever.

If we had a fully fit squad and a cup final tomorrow, I'd go with this...

DDG

Darmian Bailly Rojo Shaw

Valencia Matic Pogba

Rashford Lukaku Martial

I think Lindelof deserves at least the same time as we gave Vida and Patrice after pretty disastrous starts. Wish we had them now.

Rojo’s issue has always been that he’s been played at left back. I can’t ever remember him having a bad game at centre half, while I can’t ever remember him playing well at left back.

I certainly think he’s one of the first choice centre halves. Bailly being the other, then Jones and Smalling, Lindelöf needs to sort himself out.

Phew.

That was a must-win for us, given the other fixtures and given it's Spurs.

Again, not always pretty but a vital win and some impressive play from us.

Not sure how this partnership up front is faring but I guess we have to give it a chance.

So relieved and happy.

Overall a great performance and result!

After fearing we'd park the bus, I think we got the balance between attack and defence just about spot on.
