Both of them back in jobs. I used to like Allardyce but since his kick back I lost some respect for him as a bloke - but he will do a decent job wherever he goes - but he isn't go to win anything.

Pardew will do 2 -3 years, get fired and millions in compensation.

It is time for clubs to stop employing the same old shit. These two, Hodgson, Pulis ... etc.

Who else do they employ? Another foreign coach?

The problem isn't with the managers, it's the club's they manage. The club's they manage are often relegation fodder. Those managers get control of these clubs, save them from relegation, climb the league, sell the players that helped them climb the league and then drop back into a relegation battle, blame the manager and sack them...

Moyes, Hodgson, Pardew, Bruce, Pulis, Big Sam are on a shite-club merry-go-round. They are journeymen managers, how they keep getting employment is a fucking mystery.

Indeed! Very Happy

I can understand why clubs hire them, same way I understood why they hired Big Ron back in the day. They're mostly solid, understand the English game - which means the culture, the players and have the contacts in the form of their own former players at their former clubs and agents - and aside from blips here and there, tend to do as good a job as you would need, considering the type of clubs that hire them.

If you're Sunderland, Stoke or fucking Watford you either don't care about a manager's trophy count or you can't afford or can't attract the managers who do have trophies.

Plus, who knows, if you get a manager who keeps you afloat and crawling slowly up the table for a few years, you might always find another Pochettino to take you higher.
