Was he that good??

I was so wrapped up in the game analysis of individuals is beyond me.

Now the dust has settled a bit, I'm not sure we we were overly good today. Of course I will enjoy it, but I can't help but feel we dug ourself a hole and got out of it, similar to the palace game. It was not a tactical change or anything like that. We were losing. We had to gamble. It paid off. The result won't be far from the best feeling we have this season, but that shouldn't hide the negatives, which I'm sure has already been debated to death after previous games.

For now I plan to enjoy today's result and hope we build on it.

‪Everyone's talking about Pogba being MotM but I’d plead the case for Ashley Young. He was a beast, got a bit lucky with at least two penalty incidents but kicked ciddy up in the air and took no sh*t from anybody. Heart of a lion today.

Just woken up. Still half-pissed.

Fucking hell, that was brilliant.

Camera kept cutting to the Divs, looking like an outing from a special needs home, faces like thunder and despairing. They really thought it was going to be a coronation. What a pathetic bunch of spazzers.

I was pissing myself laughing all evening Laughing

Had a dream last night we were 2 nil down at city at HT and then i stuck a fiver on united to win at 100/1 and we came back to win 3-2 and left them gloating cunts crying in their seats....hang on a minute! Laughing Laughing
Its amazing the things you do when you’ve nailed 10 pints before the game, £505 up at the bitters expense, priceless memory! Cool

sober head on pal, we were fucking shocking for 45 minutes , if sterling wasnt so shite we would have been 5 down at half time.
if degea wasnt so fucking brilliant, and Gundogan and sterling so poor , we could have let 3 in the second half too.

BUT

we fucking didnt, and from what i have heard from the players on twitter and interviews etc, they got hold of them selves at half time and decided to play with some fucking pride and have a go, and they got their reward.

the way the players came over to the fans at the end said a lot , They showed how much it meant to them, something we have not seen a lot of in recent seasons.

was it deserved? did the best team win ?

who gives a flying fuck Laughing Laughing

One of the cunts was actually crying after the game. An adult like.

If I worked with the cunt, he’d never live it down. Grow up for fucks sake.

Sums them up though doesn’t it, on the cusp of winning the league and they’re despairing because we beat them. Still utterly obsessed with us. Plus ca change

They'll win the league, and it'll be by a reasonably large margin too.

Yet Pep's shown in the past that he does have a blind spot when it comes to playing teams that look to overwhelm with pressure and pressing. It probably explains why Klopp's record is so good against them.

It looks like it's the same at City.

I was sent this breakdown from a mate that I'm copy/pasting (no idea where it originally came from so can't credit the researcher), but here are some of City's recent losses over a few seasons and the timings of the goals that were scored against them:

Spurs away - 4-1 loss - quick fire goals - 45, 50, 61
Murdering Scum - 4-1 loss - quick fire goals - 7, 23, 32
Murdering Scum - 3-0 loss - quick fire goals - 34, 41, 57
Leicester - 3-1 loss - quick fire goals - 48, 59
Southampton - 4-2 loss - quick fire goals 25, 28 & 57 and 68
Chelsea - 3-1 loss - quick fire goals - 60, 70, 90
Leicester 4- 2 loss - quick fire goals - 3, 5, 20
Everton - 4-0 loss - quick fire goals - 34, 47 & 80 and 90
Murdering Scum - 4-3 loss - quick fire goals - 59, 61, 68
Murdering Scum - 3-0 loss - quick fire goals - 11, 20, 31
United - 3-2 loss - quick fire goals - 53, 55, 68

If a team are only losing 3-4 games a season, suddenly that's a lot of losses all in the same manner for the same reason.

City are not unbeatable, they can be overwhelmed and when they are...they can crumble.

Listening to Talkshite after the match - there must have been at least 30 bitters taking the time and effort to phone in to say how they weren't bothered!
