Winning games against fodder when the league is over > winning the biggest game of your season (apart from bottling the derby lol. )

Right oh.

Liking you parroting Liam Gallagher (another fairweather) about “United are past , we’re the future” btw. Come back if you manage to mount a title defence next year....for once.

Although you’ll go missing & pretend football is corrupt & start whinging like a few years back. Laughing

Although one can look at some of those achievements and see them as the signature of someone deprived of success for a very long time no one should argue with the remarkable points total and the goals scored. Two trophies, too, are not to be sniffed at.

In the CL City came unstuck with the build up of matches and it is particularly a problem with the EPL. We have encountered that bridge too far often enough to be generous when it happens to others. Just as in 2005 a fourth place finish is a cheap way to win the CL and makes a mockery of the claim to be the best team in Europe.

You'd have to be totally lacking in confidence not to see this as just another gauntlet and, for all the talk about the United way of playing, the real United way is to pick up that gauntlet.

In the meantime those records should be acknowledged as should the manner of their achievement and there is enough of a brotherhood in our city to acknowledge a job very well done. But if you think it's over, Nic, believe me it isn't. We have very strong foundations. They're not built on sand.

Must be a bit of a pisser deep down Nic.

Like, you and the other millions, i mean thousands of City fans will never experience an organic league title. It will always be the club that truly bought success with unclean money. Every club more or less buys some form of success and that is us included, but we’ve achieved it over the years with home-grown talent and so called average players. Money earned through a solid business model rather than handouts.

You can never get away from that.

But yeah, congratulations on most ball boys in a game etc.

Like others have said, true prolonged success is winning doubles, trebles and a hatful of titles on the bounce.

Is it just the once in the last 7 seasons you’ve been above us now? I lose count tbh Wink

What a strange stat this is?

By the same arbitrary measure, the great City have won only 1 more title than the struggling united over the past 6 years, and only 1 more than us in the past 8 years.

In fact, you've actually won the same number of leagues as United since your benefactors came in. We've also won a European trophy and been to 2 European finals in that time...to your single semi-final.

Anyway.

I’m cool like Fonzie , Dee. Laughing

We must not stand for such nonsense though. Where would it end if we tolerated it? Think of the children!

Congratulations to Man City, you've now left Newcastle United behind on number of Championships won (four), and you're now level with John O’Shea (five.) #massive #20times

Knowing Nic is typing away one handed, furiously masturbating with the other all the while trying to figure out which one to stop so he can clap himself on the back makes any Ciddy success a welcome one.

Well done you old purple, your lot are a classy bunch. Especially that fellow warbling (or was it gabbling) atop the bus the other day. I look forward to next season where you rack up another thousand posts and wank yourself into a coma.

4 out of the last 5 Premier League titles have been won by clubs owned by oil tycoons, and 9 out of the last 15 (I think).

Nic was right all along... money is ruining football.

Altogether now... "Hollow, hollow, hollow...."

Big time bottlers when it really mattered. Imagine the greatest ever team to ever play football ever in the history of the world getting played off the park & slapped up by Mike fucking Smalling.

Needy cunt.
