that will do give the chaos that’s surrounded the club in pre-season. Some superb glimpses of quick tempo football and linkup play. Very pleased to Luke Shaw, hopefully he can kick on. Suspect Fred is better than Klebeson.

First half was pretty entertaining. Second more like us. Got a feeling Leicester might be on the end of a few hidings from more attacking teams this season.

Fred looks sprightly. Glad to see Shaw get a goal. Pogba was woeful in the first half (bar the goal). Didn't really notice him in the second.

Happy with the win, far too early to judge us. On to the next one.

Strange how different folks see different things, I thought Pogba was energetic, involved throughout and one of our better players. Football is indeed a game of opinions. πŸ‘πŸ˜‚πŸ˜

Oh he was energetic as fuck. But (in the first half at least) he kept giving the ball away - either from rubbish passing or fannying around when he needn't.

Sanchez was on a par too to be fair. Lots of effort but very sloppy for the most part.

Delighted with that. A few players rusty, but that’s to be expected. Fred and Pereira were class in midfield as was Pogba to be expected.

Thought the front three for us were poor, particularly Rashford who along with Darmian were the worst players on the pitch for us. Rashford really has digressed and seems to always make wrong choices regardless of whether he has the ball or not. Wouldn’t be surprised if Martial replaces him for the next game.

Given it was the first game, poor pre season etc it wouldn't be right to ask for more.

Glimpses for some very good football, usually ending prematurely with players not quite on the same channel. That was always going to happen.

Delighted for Shaw. Not just the goal, but overall game. I've been a big defender of him since he came back from his injury and felt the treatment he received under Jose was harsh. Hopefully the goal will give him the confidence needed to move forward and regain Jose's trust.

TOFB, agree on your point on Rashford. It's a similar story to Martial IMO. Confidence has been smashed to bits. When confidence is low you make poor choices. Mangers like Jose won't spend time trying to rebuild it. He'll just get rid and sign someone else

All that fannying around and giving the ball away and United still gave him man of the Match Confused
