Thought that was a good performance, good to see Martial and Rashford get a start in the same XI, but thought they were both wasteful at times and they need to improve.

Good debut from the young lad at right back, Pogba played with a good swagger.

Pitch didn’t help though, too bouncy, too quick

A good away win, which is needed with a tough group.

And to add some icing, the Peanut Headed Fuck had to watch from the stand as those plucky little paupers Man City got dicked by a French team that wasn't even a lottery winner. Very Happy

To win 3-0 in any euro away is a great result. Wasn't always pretty, took a bit of time to settle, but it was a solid performance with some positives to cling on to going forward.

Dalot looked good. Look forward to seeing more of him.

Good to see Martial get a goal. Thought he done ok. Although some of the things he tried didn't come off, you could see what he was trying to do. It's just a confidence thing with him atm. He needs a run of games with a bit of freedom from Jose, in place of Sanchez (who isn't doing enough imo).

As for city, they aren't the team they were last season, which is a bit worrying. They are the only team capable of stopping the vermin winning the league.

It may be premature but Dalot looks like a player. Shaw, too, was good once he and TM tamed Mbabu on their flank.

Jose may have relaxed and begun to work out a modus vivendi with his players. We definitely have some of very high quality and it is just a question of getting them to do what it says on the tin.

No doubt there will still be detractors and more of the faint praise from the media but it looks as if momentum is building.

OK. So I looked it up.

modus vivendi

noun
an arrangement or agreement allowing conflicting parties to coexist peacefully, either indefinitely or until a final settlement is reached

Expected to win and we did win

I was looking forward to seeing Ronnie back at Old T but looks like, unless he appeals and wins, that wont't happen

A good thing and a bad thing Confused

It's only a 1 game ban with no appeal. The ban could be extended by UEFA but I thought the red was harsh (admittedly I've not seen many replays), so unless he said something to the ref that leads the the ban being extended I fully expect him to be in the Juventus squads to face us. This is bad thing. Any player of Ronnie's quality, is a threat. I'll love him before the game, I will love him after the game, unless he gives me a good reason not too, but all the time he is on the pitch he is a threat to us. I want him knowhere near that pitch.
