Not sure how I feel about this, if it were to happen.

On the one hand we rid ourselves of the leaches, we get on a level playing field as city and possibly the only way we'll start competing again (I don't trust the current mob to work in our best intrest).

On the other, the issues I have with city, and other clubs with multi-billionaire owners, I would make me a hypocrite to support it.

It would be the final straw for me. Could not tolerate that regime at our club.

I’m out if this happens.

The current news cycle can’t be associated with United. It would make Jose seem like Mother Teresa.

Whoever owns us in future will likely be unpalatable, but Saudi Arabia or any other Middle Eastern totalitarian regime would kill it for me, as would a Putin-backed Russian crook, as would a Chinese businessman that legitimises the communist regime.

Where are those Red Knights?

so this what football has finally become ,

a pissing contest for the Saudi billionaires . they must have got bored of building "the worlds tallest building" , only be overtaken the year after by " the NEW worlds tallest building"

i'mm 53 and i bet within my lifetime football will no longer be the sport we love, (probably already is for many ...)
replaced by a international team league playing once a month , and the world cup and euros sneaked in there too ,
a champions style euro league playing club euro games twice a month , and an English elite league playing uk premier games 3 times a month.

fa cup will be for the lower leagues

league cup will be abolished to a non league event

Crying or Very sad

For me I've a new found passion for football that doesn't involve the bullshit of the elite game. I'm a grassroots coach and manager and I spend my time teaching 11 year old boys how to play football, how to be sporting and humble in victory or defeat, and how to play the game in the right spirit, with positivity and a smile on your face. Once my current team has run it's course, as tends to happen when they get into their teenage years, I'll look to get involved with another team in our local club. For me this brings me as much joy as anything United have ever done, or likely to do, and allows me to put something back into the local community.

Don't get me wrong, I still watch United week-in, week-out, I always have and I always will, but for me the notion of elite football as entertainment is exactly how I view it these days, for the real enjoyment for the sport of football I get myself down to a football pitch near me and watch young boys and girls play the purest and most enjoyable form of the game, where they play simply for the love of the game and nothing else. My Monday's and Tuesday's are now far more concerned with how my own team got on and how we may improve as a team than how United have done. I've grown-up and grown-out of the bullshit that modern football is surrounded by.

Absolutely this!!

Coached for about 10 years now, and it as given me some of my best footballing memories and given me a chance to overcome some tough challenges.

I took a group of lads from u10's to U18's and to see their development, football and non football, from kids into rounded young men fills me with immense pride. I'm someone who struggles to recognise my own achievements, but this really sticks out. And in the process of teaching them, they taught me a lot.

I stopped coaching when my son was born, but his love for the game inspired me to get back involved. He now trains twice a week so involved with coaching his team, and I also started playing again. I've missed a few united games, and other 'worth watching' matches as a result, but nothing beats getting mud on your boots.

Trading one shower of cunts for an even bigger shower of cunts. I want rid of the Glazers, but not at this expense.

i was player and manager of our local amateur side for well over 20 years , i spent hours and hours each week on it, it was an obsession ,missed a lot of my daughters growing up because of it, i was so absorbed in it, i once cut the pitch with a fly mow !!!! you realise how big a football pitch is when you cut it with a 14 " fucking qualcast hover mower.......on your own...

we won a few trophies and leagues, promoted and relegated and even at that level the joy was as close to ecstasy as i can really imagine.

however i never did , and never will fall out of love with Utd , i just can't, no matter who owns us, who plays for us, who manages us.... i simply cannot do it.

i tried this season to stop watching because i hate mourinho, but i can't..

i stopped going a couple of years ago, when LVG was making it almost a torture to travel 60 miles each way ...

the lads i went with to every game have taken to Guiseley and i go to a lot of their games, but i don't have the heart in it like utd.

i still get happy when lids lose !!!!

the biggest saving grace - i was match going red for the fergie years , years we will never probably see the likes of again , which to be fair is how most football supporters will always view the game for their own sides perspective.
