| The Mondiali antirazzisti is a yearly event held in Montecchio in Italy. Roughly this translates to the Anti Racism World Cup, and for those of you without geographical knowledge, the tournament is held in Montecchio, near Reggio Emilla in Italy. This years line up of teams consisted of representatives from the major European teams (Manchester United, Lazio etc) and even further a field with the likes of Brazilian and Saudi Arabian teams. The number of teams totalled 120 and it was clear from the onset that some teams were going take it far more seriously than others. Our intentions were clearly signalled at the start of the trip when Vance produced a party pack of beverages for the journey down, at 1:30am, somehow I had this gut feeling that this was gonna get messy |
